too many worlds? Topic

Any thought given to reducing the number of worlds in HD, as the amount of human coaches is getting really thin.   Some SIMs are okay, but I guess there are more SIMs than humans now.
Thanks in advance for allowing us to give feedback.
btw, the game is great.

If you think the engine changeover was a PR nightmare, imagine the howling and gnashing of teeth that would accompany the proclamation that "World X will be struck by a comet and cease to exist at the conclusion of Season 49" or something equivalent.

+1

the only way i could see possibly doing this is saying something like, world X will end in 20 seasons. but then you would have 20 seasons of people complaining, so i am skeptical that would even be any better.

There are always political ways to make this happen.  Casual fans may be upset, but true fans would find the end of a world as only a challenge.  WIS has to understand that the Basketball guys want the challenge of competition.
They could offer incentives (season) or "mirror" current teams to vacant teams in the worlds they maintain, or even allow the computer to "recruit" lower level coaches to fill higher level teams.  The technology could be written to resolve issues.  It may be a good change.

Take billyg's suggestion, maybe cut it to 10 for a non-turbo world, then slowly ratchet up the rewards for the national championship in that world.  For the final season, make it something like a ten pack.  Would be interesting to see people fighting for that championship, all trying to peak in the same season.

That said, I'm not advocating the closing of worlds, just spitballing.
