I'm curious who would be the better defender for a SG playing man-to-man in DIII, a 32 def / A- IQ or a 40 def / B+ IQ. All other ratings the same, who would be the better player to guard the #1 scorer in my conference?

I can't imagine you could ever tell the difference from one game to the next, but if I had to choose, I'd take the 40/B+. The 25% greater difference in def would seem like more than the difference between B+/A-
