I have quite a few expiring contracts at the end of this season. I do want to sign quite a few of them. We are only about a 1/4 of the way thru the season. I obviously would like to wait until later in the year to sign the extensions, in case of any bad injuries. Question is, will the contracts they are requesting stay the same or could their asking price go up(or down) as the season wears on?

Never seen a demand change.  I suspect, without knowing, that even if they have a loss in ratings the demand stays the same, although any change in ratings will affect their demands after rollover.

I'll sign the ones I want before the season is over. Good to know the demands won't change. I'll just wait until the end of the season then. Wouldn't want to commit to a multiple year contract too early only to have a major injury.

Yeah, I think it's a flaw in the game.    Seems like a player would increase his demands as the season progressed.  They don't.

I never resign someone until after I'm done in the playoffs--to insure they were not injured before the new contract.
