Hey, 1 question for ya.
I have a season ending injury to a player on my team, this happened before the 20th game of the season (#18 to be precise).  Will this season count toward the clock?  Id hate for this season to count seeing as he only pitched in like 4 games. 

Thanks for any info.

It counts if he's on the ML roster OR if he's on the DL, so yes. 

Does he have options?  If so you could demote him to AAA as opposed to DLing him.  Might save you a year of service time but I'm not 100% sure about that.
