Deconding "on the fence" messages Topic

I got two different on the fence messages so far during recruiting. I've always thought that message indicated you were behind but with the seperate versions I'm assuming they have different meanings.

"Coach, I'm really on the fence right now - you've said everything I needed to hear, but so has another school. I can definitely see myself playing for you next year. I just can't decide yet."

I feel like this one means it's almost too close to call and I'm either slightly ahead or slightly behind.

"Coach, I'm really on the fence right now - there are a couple of other schools I really like right now too. I can't decide just yet."

While this is one where it's still relatively close but the other school is in the lead.

Or I could be wrong and they both have the same meaning, what do you guys think?

The only thing you can do when you get an ambiguous message is continue spending. There's no way to know for sure. I'm fairly sure that there are times that players indicate to both teams that they're in the lead (or at least give a message that might be interpreted that way.)

And if you are technically ahead, it's by such a small margin that you're not even remotely safe.

I'm getting some messages I've never seen before.  I don't want to post them because I know the guy I'm battling with reads the forums, but I have never gotten a scholarship message that actually uses the other team's name.
