Prospect
There is a prospect so good he is getting a ML contract at 18 years old.  This is probably common place, but what are the implications, long term if he gets a ML contract?

This isn't (ultimately) a big deal, as IFAs who are that good don't tend to get sent back down to the minors at any point, so there's little need for options.

The only implications are the owner has to keep the player on his 40 man roster and pay him 327k a season.
