I'm new to HBD and am still learning.

I've suffered serious injuries to 4 pitchers on my ML staff.  I've put them on the 60 day DL.  However, they still occupy a spot on the 25 man roster.  This is making it real hard to call up pitchers from the minor to replace them without gutting my position depth.

am I missing something here?  My team is falling apart due to extreme fatigue to my healthy pitchers.  Please advise.

If they are on the DL, then they have freed up a spot on the 25 man roster.  You should be able to call up somebody to replace them.  Are you receiving an error message?

In additional, if they are on the 60-day DL, they have also freed up a spot on the 40-man roster.
