DEPTH CHART NOT FOLLOWED AT ALL Topic

My Francis Marion Team in Wooden was in the Tournament last night and guess whatr .  MY DEPTH CHART WASNT FOLLOWED.
I had my starting pf not play at all . I had my second string pf start, I had my 3rd pf play backup.    My 2nd string pf started at sf and my starting small foward started at power foward.   What the F........
I have no clue why that happened I am TOTALLY P..................
Im not saying we would have one anyway because I played a good team, however it would have been closer and you never know I may have pulled a upset.
ANY SUGGESTIONS>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Check your settings. The exact same lineup played in your last game also (including Ivey not playing at all). So you may have accidentally made some change to your depth chart two games ago.

If it has something to do with the new release i dont know, however i played this game long enough and it has never happened before.   It isnt a good feeling when you play a game for over 40 days and then the biggest game of the year the engine screws up.....im not happy about it

Maybe you didn't actually save your changes???   Whenever I make a lineup change, I leave the screen and return to verify that it's OK

I make this mistake like 10 times per season.

I screw up my game plan screen by not saving it.....if I changed my depth chart more, I would screw that up too

none of which means that there was not a glitch, but you should consider whether there is a chance that the glitch was a user error.....as Toyota said to drivers who experienced uncontrolled acceleration....

and after investigating, they were all mostly user errors, correct?

ONCE AGAIN EVERYONE I DID SAVE THE SETTINGS AND I DOUBLE CHECKED MORE THAN ONCE
THE TICKET RESPONSE WAS    THAT WAS THE DEPTH CHART I HAD SAVED ...WHICH IS TOTALLY UNTRUE I KNOW WHAT I DID AND THIS MORNING WHEN I CHECKED THE SCORES AND OPENED THE BOX SCORE I SAW THE LINEUP THAT THE ENGINE USED IMMEDIATLY WENT TO THE DEPTH CHART SCREEN AND REVERIFIED THAT I DID INDEED SAVE THE SETTINGS

NO MATTER HOW MANY CAPITAL LETTERS YOU USE IT STILL SOUNDS LIKE YOU DID SOMETHING WRONG

Wow... somebody needs to calm down.

If you changed your depth chart to the lineup that played two games ago, then it's pretty obvious that you didn't save your new lineup before your NT game.  I'm not exactly sure why you made that weird change to your lineup in the conference tourney, maybe you had a guy injured or something, but whatever happened, you didn't get your changes in for the next one.

Could have happened for multiple reasons - maybe there was an error when it saved the depth chart and you just overlooked it (had the same guy starting in two places or something along those lines).  Maybe you tried to make your change too close to the time the engine simulated the game so it couldn't take effect.  Maybe you just didn't hit the save button, which has burned us all before.  The game isn't going to overlook your recent saved changes and go back to apply your lineup from two games ago though - so something obviously didn't save.  You can type all the capital letters you want and submit all the tickets to CS that you want - but this one most likely came down to user error, sorry.

sorry about the cap letters    didnt realize that it is interpreted as being angry or loud    i type with caps alot its just a habit

but after doing the research i want to formally make a apology to everyone as well as CS...

The depth chart was indeed the way I intended however ....being the dummy that i can be at times...i dint change the fatigue setting as i still had players on mopup

Once again i apologize if i offended anyone....

Good on you for coming back to the forums and posting this information.  We all make mistakes and it is good to know that the update just made did not somehow cause your issue.

Thank you for being honest and for doing the right thing.
