Let's play the how far will E. Connecticut's RPI tumble when conference play starts game!

With one non conference game left, we currently sit at #13 RPI and #13 SOS.

Our last non-con is against a decent team with an RPI in the 80s.

Currently, of the other 11 teams in our conference, the highest RPI is 181.  Only one other team is inside of #200.  6 teams are in the 200's, and 3 teams are in the 300's.

Assuming we win out, or at most get upset in 1 game...what are the odds we still stumble outside of the top 50 RPI?  Can I decline the conference tournament games? :(

It's hard to say, of course, but I think you'll stay in the top 50.  The SOS of your non-conf will help since those teams should keep winning.

it's not a huge deal, just fun to try and predict it :D  if we win out we might just be the best #16 seed ever :D

i'm going with we stay in the top 50...barely.  say #47

I think you'll be ok. Barring any slip ups to your conference mates i'm guessing around 30ish RPI.

The real kicker will be how the other teams fare in conference play. If they beat up on each other and stay near .500 in conference play, none will improve too much. If one or two string a few W's together and set themselves apart, at the very least they'll give you some games that won't damage your RPI when you play them.

My vote would be that you'll wind up in the 40-45 range.

You'll be fine...some of my ECSU teams were in years where the Little East had at most 1 other team in the top 150.

If you 16-0 in the conference, you won't fall farther than the upper 30s.

9-0 in conference so far, but have already slipped down to #33 RPI with 7 games plus CT to go.

This is going to be nerve-racking.  one upset away from not making the NT with a team that I think is a legit title threat :(

If you wouldn't have scheduled those first two Sims you would be in much better shape.

regardless, my non con strength of schedule was #13.

i can't control how horrible the sims in my own conference are.

I went into non-conference play with an RPI of 8 and a SOS in the 30's; there is only 1 sub 100 RPI team in my conference, and 6 SIMS.  I'm 14-0 and my RPI has moved up to 5, SOS 43.  As long as you win you'll be fine.

Finished undefeated through conference play and the tournament and ended up ranked #10 with an RPI of 36 and got a 7 seed in the tournament.

Is it a favorable seed?  Last year I got the 10th seed in my region but it was very favorable.   You can make noise from the 7
