I HATE the backspace key... Topic

I just spent half an hour writing up a post asking some questions about how other coaches might approach setting up my depth chart and distro for my Rochester team.  Then I mistyped something, tried to back it up with the backspace key, and accidentally triggered that obnoxious little "return to previous page" command that somehow is associated with the backspace key.  Must have accidentally tapped ctrl.  Anyway, it had probably gotten so long that nobody would have read it anyway.  It boiled down to 4 questions:

1) Who should start next to Nathan Carroll in the post?
2) How can I set up my guard rotation most efficiently?
3) When Carroll, Garren, Carter, and Bradley are on the floor together, who should see the most distro?
4) How should I adjust distro against the press?

Each question originally had a fairly long paragraph of my thoughts associated with it.  I have a pretty good idea what I want to do with this team, but I'd like some feedback to help me learn how other coaches approach the game.  Also to figure out if my thinking has any huge holes in it.  It seems like we have the returning talent this year to make a reasonably deep tournament run, which would be a first in Rochester school history.  Any feedback is appreciated.  If I actually get some my responses I might end up repeating a great deal of what was in the original post anyway...

If you're using Firefox it's easy to disable the backspace.

In your location bar, type "about:config", then press enter.  Click "Ok" or "I'll be Careful" or whatever the button says on the next screen which is a warning telling you not to jack with the config settings too much.  Search for "backspace" and double click on the only result that should show up (browser.backspace_action).  Type in any value greater than 1 (a zero value triggers backspace to go back, a one value triggers backspace to scroll on the page, anything greater than one makes it do nothing).

Don't think you can disable it in IE... because Microsoft is so awesome and all...

its somewhat amazing to me how easy it is to fix these things that make you want to shoot somebody, yet most people in most cases will never take the time to do it. for the longest time my FF mail client would open attachments in line, and people would send me these long .txt files daily that would immediately hang the program for eternity. after like 500 instances of wanting to smash my computer, and several instances of actually smashing my computer, i spent the 5 minutes to lookup how to turn the damn thing off. and i've probably lost like 20 hours of typed sitemails and stuff from the damn backspace. sigh. i HATE configuring stuff to work for you. took me 4 years having an iphone before i was willing to download an app, and actually only did because someone else did it for me, i just paid the 3 dollars. i guess i am in the wrong business. a guy who hates technology as a software developer, what was i thinking??

Yeah, I appreciate the help.  Still would be interested in some actual advice concerning my team...

Your mistake was making the subject about your backspace key instead of your team.

Yeah, well at the time after spending literally half an hour typing it up originally I was a lot more concerned about the backspace key...
