As in:

Joe Ballplayer has an asterisk beside his 55 doubles in Season 10, because he led the AL in doubles that year.  

So on and so forth.

I'd prefer bold or italicized text, but this would be great. But I'm fairly certain Admin has said this would be too great a burden on the servers.
