Are reputation & loyalty recruiting factors? Topic

Does a coach's reputation and loyalty play a factor in influencing recruits, or do they only play a role during hirings/firings? Thanks.

In the FAQs, one of the answers to a recruitng questions says, "In addition, the reputation and success of the coach also plays a role in the recruiting process."

So, more specifically, has anybody been able to quantify how much of an impact and/or advantage can be attributed to these factors?

I believe that rep has a small effect on recruiting.  No sign that loyalty has an effect.  The effect of rep is small, I have not tried to quantify it.
