i dont believe so.. I've tried on an ipod touch and that doesnt hurt.. ipads may be different though

my daughter has a touch, the java system needed will not work..but the Ipad is an actual computer so that may work

From my understanding apple or stve jobs hates java so i would def check before investing in one of those.
