I noticed this past season there was an owner who probably had 8 scholorships available.  With that being said he had about 20 recruits at least interested in his school very early on in the process.  Probably after 9 or 12 hours.  I have had a hell of time just recruiting 2 guys granted they are not sloaches but this guy had several better then average recruits looking at his school.  This was DII Level and I was wondering if maybe booster gifts were offered early and do you always get caught if you do offer them???  If this isn't the case how did he get so much interest so quickly?  Thanks

Hard to say. but doubtful its booster. I usually have a few guys considering me that are backup options if my main targets fall through.  If a lower prestige school was wise they would watch these guys and when I drop them ppick them up.  Until they got comfortable battling for the better guys this is a good strategy.
