Bigs Vs. Guards Topic

In the new engine it seems like guards are way more valuable than big men. I also seems like PG's who can shoot are way more valuable as well.
With my teams I like a PG with good SPD, BH & Pass the rest is just gravy. My SG needs decent speed and good shooting, and my bigs I like decent Ath, and good Reb and LP.
With that said I usually have 2 bigs and 1 guard as my best players and/or top scorers, when it seems like many other teams have it the other way around.
So to finally get to my question, would you consider Big's or PG's that can shoot to be more important in the new engine? Any explination or reasong would be very insightful. Thanks.

I would say with my team, at least, a good big is very important.  Ferrel is quite often my leading scorer and very valuable in games.
Ideally, I would think you want a mix.  At least a couple good outside scorers with a inside presence that can score, so that teams get punished if their go either heavily plus or heavily minus.  In my case that is Davis, Franklin and Ferrel.

Again that is to my point a good shooting PG seems to be more valuable than a 2nd good big. Or at least 2 good shooting Guards (not necessarily SG's) who start are better then just 1 and 2 good bigs.

Well, to me, its often a choice between a second scoring big or finding another big who can rebound, block and play defense - and I find it easier to find a second scoring capable guard than a second good scoring big.  Bell gets the job done for me.

Nothing against your team at all. You are tough to guard, can go inside or out makes it hard to decide what to guard, then you have bell who can rebound. And a 21-4 record is all the evedence you need to prove that point.

It just makes my point that the better teams seem to have a good scoring option to play PG as the 3rd option instead of a 2nd big.

In my case my main three scorers ARE my PG, my Shooting guard and my SF(A Power forward playing SF) (Courtney at PG, Joyce at SG and Schwalm at SF).  However, my scoring isn't really heavily concentrated so I'm not sure how relevant that is.  Lovell is also a viable scoring option.
