How does it play to have great pitching in say a Coors Field?

Will they get hammered or will the pitching neutralize the opposing bats a bit?

Great pitching will do better than good pitching which will do better than bad pitching.

I wasn't really being a smartass.   It's just that a hitter's park will hurt all pitchers.  And it will hurt bad pitchers more than great pitchers.

blasters when you are building your pitching staff high GB pitchers and high control pitchers will help you more in Colorado than usual. They will not give up as many walks which makes the HR hurt a little less and they will also get more double plays so the few walks they do give up may be erased.

All else being equal, I'll take the pitcher with a higher GB/FB ratio, but I'll take a good flyball pitcher over a bad groundball pitcher.  And, what Mike said, good pitching will be better than bad pitching in any park.  Just recognize that your players' stats will be inflated (in a good way for hitters, in a bad way for pitchers).

If you're going to concentrate on GB pitchers, you better concentrate on a good fielders at 2B/SS.
