Another what can you expect thread Topic

More of a general question, but what can you expect from a guy with:

50 con / 50 power / 90 R / 90 L / 50 eye / 100 spd

and

30 / 80 / 55 / 55 / 75 / 80

I know people hate these threads, and there are a ton of factors, but I've given up trying to find similar examples in my world, even though I'm sure there are some.

Top guy-- .290/.330/.410 or thereabouts in a neutral park.  If the baserunning is >70 lots of SB with relatively few CS.
Bottom guy-- .230/.320/.410, fewer SB.

You can look in other worlds, any random other world, for comparables.

You should expect a lot of answers.  Many of which will be wrong and the rest will be pure speculation.

Your speculation is better than mine.  I'm sure you'd agree.

I'm not necessarily looking for numbers (although that would be helpful), just general info on effectiveness.

I'm not sure my speculation will be better than your speculation at all.  I don't know anything about Cobbfather.   A guy who's a stud in Cobbfather may be a dud in MG, an average player in Coop and a surefire HOFer in Hamilton.

While I agree with Mike that the talent in each world varies - and will therefore impact forecasts like this somewhat, I would suggest dedelman's projections are a useful starting point. My own calculations would be a tick higher in OPS, but close enough for govt work as they say.

Take the first guy, I'd guess his career line in a neutral park will look like .300/.350/.425 - OPS .775. Could it be .765 - .785? Of course. Could it be .735 or .815? I wouldn't bet on it.
