The sdb progressive league needs 1 owner for 1985
Started in the 1962 season this long running progressive originaly was known as the Nuke LaLoosh memorial league. It was later renamed the sdb League in honor of Stephen Brown, late WIS user brunigh.
Advances 1 season at a time with a worst to first draft.
Lottery for the 1st two picks includes the bottom 4 teams.
Wins floor is 40 by game 162 to be in the lottery.
Failure to make the wins floor means you drop to pick #5.
1200 IP minimum that must be maintained throughout the season. Failure to have 1200 results in a drop in the draft and you can not be in the lottery. Max penalty is a drop of 5 spots.
1150-1199 drop 1 spot
1100-1149 drop 2 spots ect.
DH in the AL only.
AAA draft done like the normal draft.
Draft picks may be traded up to 1 year in advance.
No restrictions on team names

Players must be rated at a position to start there. Since the owner has no control over who sparky subs there is no penalty unless you start a player out of position.
Penalty: None if when notified an owner stops doing it. If it continues all games where the violation occurs count as a loss for playoff position and as a win for draft position.
minimum 1200 IP after the draft and during the season
Penalty: 1 draft spot per 50 IP and you are disqualified from the lottery meaning you can draft no higher than 4th. Maximum penalty is 5 spots.
1150-1199 IP 1 spot penalty 1100-1149 2 spot penalty ect.
Trades can be made for draft picks no more than 1 season ahead.
No penalty you just can't do it so the trade would be voided.
Wins Floor and Lottery
The wins floor is 40 wins by the end of the season. failure to make the wins floor keeps you out of the lottery and you will draft no higher than 5th.
Draft position is determined at game #120.
The 4 teams with the worst record and that make the wins floor at seasons end are placed in a lottery for the top 2 picks.
****Currently we are past the 120 game mark in the '84 season, and are getting ready for the '85 draft once the season is done.
The Coltranes use the DH and have the 5th pick in the '85 draft
