My reputation dropped from A+ to A- because i cut a kid who had a work ethic of 1 for 2 years and each off season his ratings dropped...is that the normal drop?  Second question is when and will it come back?

If he is a kid you recruited, yes. If you take a new job you can usually cut 2 players without seeing a drop in grade. I'd say it will take two years to fully come back.
