As the drafts start to seriously thin out (I'm just about to run the early 1900's gauntlet, ugh!) it's about time for some haggling.

First up on my trade block:

SS Jose Valentin - no world beater, but an .800 OPS# and an A+ range at SS will probably be above average in the first year of this league.

I'm looking to swap for a better bat at 3B or the OF.

Valentin is from the '93 class and teal_leo does have the next pick for that season. I'm guessing he would make him his pick if he can get someone to trade for him.

Yep, that's exactly where I was. I suppose I could have clarified that it my original post. Draft and trade. It also means I'll be waiting a day or two before posting my next few picks. I know that's a shame for the people behind me in the draft who want some instant gratification, but them's the rules.

If anyone is looking for a catcher, I have two...one stud (Mickey Cochrane) and one solid (Elston Howard).  Willing to move either in the right deal.  Looking to upgrade almost any other offensive position. 

Cochrane was 4th pick in 1925, Howard was 6th pick in 1955.
