Projections question Topic

Anyone know if actual ratings are affected by projected ratings, even if the projections are off?  For example, I have a really low advanced scouting.  I don't really need it.  But, it seems like some of the ratings of my really young guys have stalled at the projected rating, even though I would guess it's wrong (mostly because it was much higher last year when I had 4 more in advanced scouting).

I figure it doesn't, but there does seem to be a pattern.

Not that I know of, no. Projected ratings are only supposed to show what the maximum ratings of your player could potentially be, and shouldn't have any effect on actual ratings.

Yeah, that's what I figured, but I can't seem to get any of my guys' ratings to move once they hit the projecteds.  Thanks.

No.

Unless you're keeping note of the actual ratings at different times, It might be too that you just haven't noticed they've gone up and the projected ratings have moved with them.

But they would show as increasing during the season, right?

I've had three of four cycles of no improvement.  It could just be that those 19-yeard olds are maxed, and iy's just a coincidence.  Seems to be that's the case from what people are saying.

If a player exceeds his projections in season, the projection # moves up to match the current.

Right, but I would see the improvement.  For example, each of the four "regular season" lines for one guy's contact says 35.  If he was improving, the projection line would be moving up, but I would be seeing the improvement as he improved.
