I think coaches would enjoy being able to designate each individual player's position (pg, sg, etc...) on a yearly basis. This would be advantageous for a few reasons, but mainly the conference and national awards would better reflect the actual players that occupied those positions. To limit cheating (manipulating positions to skew awards) and other unforseen problems, while simultaneously allowing coaches enough time to determine each players best positions, coaches could be forced to determine players' positions at the end of non-conference play (or some other arbitrary deadline). In the event human coaches don't change and/or determine specific position designations for their player(s), then players could simply be listed at the position in which they were recruited. Thanks.
