Would you prefer to start at SF.  .(I already know who I AM starting, but I am curious what people think)


In other words, is Athleticism and speed, or ball handling and passing more important vs the Press?

68 ath, 68 spd, 24 bh, 33 pas

or

45 ath, 44 spd, 69 bh, 55 pas

I'd start Sechrist I guess, but not just for the ath and spd, but also for the +10 def and +42 lp advantage over Poche. But actually I'd start Sechrist at SG instead of Fontenot and his 27 ath and 1 def, and then I'd have to put Poche at SF...

I did say 'all other things being equal'. . . . but even then, if you go down that road there is this:

 

+ 34 reb, +24 Per, +45 bh and +22 pass.

I'd still bench Fontenot and start them both...but if not, against press, all things being equal, I guess I like ath and spd.   - what offense? the bh/pas advantage might be more of a factor in a motion

Yah. . in general this was less about my specific next game and more about general philosophy;  wanting to see which people prefer  Generally, the times I have taken out Poche, efficiency plummets on offense.  The other lineup I do think of, incidentally, would be sliding Franklin over to PG and Sliding in Sechrist at sg. . . but his low BH and passing tends to keep me from doing that.  I don't like a starting guard that doesn't have at least fifty or sixty in either Passing or BH.
