how soon before school and even overall records for assists topple with the recent change?  there probably are some amazing totals for the All SIM days in older worlds that will be hard to beat, but we should see records fall in a few seasons....eh?

I'd say we will see some assist records topple.  I don't ever recall having a team with more than 25 assists in a game, and I got 31 last night.  my starting PG got 11 for the 2nd time this season.  he's a good passer for DIII (78 BH, 77 P), but not elite and he's averaging 5.4 APG.  that seems a little high to me.     

I have a freshmen pg who has had 12 and 11 assist games. So I'm guessing pretty soon

77 passing rating in D3 is actually pretty good these days and in combination with 78bh makes it really good. Just because at one point guys struggled to get over 3.5 APG doesn't mean that system was right, in real life averaging 5.4apg would put you somewhere in the top 15-25 nationally most seasons while HD in the past that would make you runaway leader most seasons and now will put you comfortably in the top 10 and near the lead.

They'll probably bring it back in just a bit...I just had 30 assists on 39 fg's made a game or 2 ago.  That seems a bit high.  But I'll take this over what it used to be any day.
