anybody have any idea why i keep having trouble with close games specifically? this is the first time i have ever been something like 11 - 17 while actually outscoring my opponents as a whole. shooting better. shooting better from three, outrebounding them. having more assists than them. more steals. . . the only things i did worse at than my opponents were turnovers and fouls. the fouls no doubt caused by intentional fouling from being down in nine games decided by three or less rather than any basic strategy.

i know i need more athleticism and defense.  this question isn't about recruiting but gameplanning.  its more 'why in any game where i was down by three or less with two minutes left (actually half or more of my games) did i pretty much automatically lose'

is it something i did that made me lose all those close games, that maybe i can correct, or should i just accept it as a bad luck season and move on?

Appears you just had a bad string of luck with losing all those close games. Nothing you can do about that, honestly.

One thing you might want to do is go to Office/Team Game Plan and check your setting/s at the bottom of the page under "Losing Late". There are 2 settings there for Intentionally Fouling. One is for Points, the other is for Time Remaing. The default option is 2 minutes, try adjusting that to 1 minute.

Yea, that's some seriously bad luck. It also means that you give your team a chance to win every night.
