Stats importance on EE? Topic

Curious about this as I have a sophomore who is having a great season on my Arkansas team.

From a ratings stand point I think his per rating could be enough to keep him in school however every other rating is elite for a SG and he's performing very well averaging 23ppg shooting 45.6% from the field  (24 and 47% in conference play) which is good for 7th in Phelan D1 and he's the only sophomore ranking in the top 25. My team is not good and I'll likely completely miss postseason play.

I've heard that the importance of stats when it comes to EEs have been greatly diminished and it's mostly about ratings and team success now. If that's the case I don't have much to worry about but if stats have a bigger importance than I'm aware of there's a good chance he'll bolt. So do I have anything to worry about?

i think stats are actually 0% now

I think that 0% is true.  But here's a question -- what about post-season awards?  Does being conference PotY boost your chances of going?  1st team all-conference?  Because if they do (and I have no idea, really), then stats do matter, just indirectly.
