out recruiting a d2 sim? anyone do it before?

i haven't done it, but it can be done. you should send a stiemail to aejones he has experience with this D3 recruiting technique.

i've done it twice. i didn't go after them when the sim was the fav, but so happens we got there at the same time and i had a bunch of cash, and they had to be tapped out.  i even got one of them dropped frm the considering list

ive done it with my northland team. havent been there for too long though

I've done it a few times.  Just pick your battles and you'll be ok.

As long as fss says he still is open. If he is locked then you got little to no shot.

if the player is local its really easy actually

i ripped one from a d2 sim who was very tight with the player.

I've done it a few times, two that were considered "tight."  One of those really wasn't all that bad, the other one cost me upwards of 40 Scouting Trips from over 200 miles away.  That was pricey.  Worth it, though.  Maybe.

I have done this multiple times.  Obviously, the closer to home the recruit in question is- the higher the chance of success.  In every case where I was able to accomplish this I made sure I had the distance advantage.  Also, if the recruit appears on your DII screen and not your DIII screen you will spend way more trying to get the recruit to consider you.
