Signing type A and losing draft pick Topic

I have the 17th pick in our upcoming amateur draft.  This is a comp pick as I was unable to sign my #1 pick from last season.  If I sign a type A free agent will I lose this pick?  I know I would lose the pick if it was my normal slot but not sure since its a comp pick.

You can only lose "natural" picks, not comp picks.
