He's right.  You'd think it would mean that he'd want to start all season, to include postseason games, but for some reason it doesn't work that way.

I had a player who didn't realize he wasn't a starter until almost halftime. By then, the season was nearly over.

I disagree - I recently had a player in Phelan with promised start and promised minutes. He improved his WE through the last game of the season. Then in the CT I benched him and cut his minutes. In the CT and post-season I had another 6 games. He then quit the team claiming a broken promise. Also in Rupp I've got a guy who's WE has changed during the post-season. It went from -7 to -8 and then back to -7.  This wasn't a promise issue, but a Soph who thought he should be averaging I guess 15 min or so on a team full of seniors. Makes no sense, but there you have it.
