If I redshirt a kid without telling him in recruiting I would, what happens? Do I take a reputation hit?

He either flips out and looses a bunch of WE or accepts it.    Either way he is redshirted.  You only, I think, would take a rep hit if you had made him promises that redshirting made it impossible to fulfill.

corn, only way he would transfer is if you promised him mins during recruiting and then redshirted against his will.
