anyone have an easy way to figure out how far you are from other colleges?

I pull up the team i'm against and look at their recruiting, it will tell you their distance. As to before recruiting I always use Google Maps. Not sure if that helps.

I use a freeware program called zipoid. You'll need to get the zip codes of the schools first, but then in zipoid they have a compare distance function...

There are Google maps for Div 1, 2, and 3 schools - I've found that some real world schools aren't in HD, but most are.   There's even a distance calculator for Google Maps.  It's not the same one HD uses, but it'll get you there.

Somewhere (and if you really need, I can find it too), there is a google earth file with all the schools in it- you can use that as well.
