Does playing a tired playe hurt his health/dur? Topic

Question asked of me regarding this player on another team in my world.  I guess he played a good chunk of last season under 75%, catching all 162 games, but never did get hurt.  His team has a 20 in training last year, then at the age of 28 this season, he dropped 2 points in health & durability.  It seems a little early to drop in those two areas w/o injury, though he could be one of those players that start fading away early.  or, perhaps his drop in those two areas were due to playing so much of last season below 75% (or some other % deemed important)  Anyone have an idea if that could be the case?

I think he's just in an early physical decline.  I've never seen "excessive" playing time causing a decline in physical ratings unless there's an injury involved.

This does make me wonder something, that I've never thought of or looked into: in "real-life", catchers tend to start declining physical earlier than other position players because of the toll catching can take on their bodies.  I wonder if that's the case here?

I tend to agree with you Tec, but his other "age" skills remained the same, so it had me wondering.  Playing catcher could have had a hand in it as well.  Its not like the lose in either area is going to affect him much, he was pretty high to begin with, just seems odd.
