The Gulf South Conference is D2 Crum continues to get stronger. We had 8 human coaches this season, and at least 5 of us are staying for next season and hopefully longer. Of our 8 human coaches, 4 made the post season (2 in the NT and 2 in the PIT) and one made it to the final of the PIT (I got lucky, what can I say). We would love to pick up a few more human coaches. There are a number of attractive programs available. Keep in mind that with the changes to recruiting in the latest major update, which will limit the number of D1 players who can be pulled down to D2, it might be beneficial to take over a program with a lot of schollies available this season.
The coach who took over Harding (
http://www.whatifsports.com/hd/TeamProfile/Ratings.aspx?tid=8194) last season did a great job recruiting, but decided to cut back his number of teams so he is one-and-done. The would be a great job for anyone wanting to move up to D2 or make a lateral move in D2 to an active conference. The team has 6 open schollies after a good job recruiting last season.
The coach at Southern Arkansas (
http://www.whatifsports.com/hd/TeamProfile/Ratings.aspx?tid=8198) has also said he plans to leave to move back down to D3. His team made the PIT this season and he also recruited well last season, so look for that job to open soon.
Lincoln Memorial (
http://www.whatifsports.com/hd/TeamProfile/Ratings.aspx?tid=8196) will have 6 open schollies this season and 3 more the next to start a rebuild.
Central Arkansas (
http://www.whatifsports.com/hd/TeamProfile/Ratings.aspx?tid=8202) will have 6 open schollies this season and 3 the next for a rebuild.
Alabama, Huntsville (

Quachita Baptist (

Lastly, West Georgia (
http://www.whatifsports.com/hd/TeamProfile/Ratings.aspx?tid=8199), which was human coached for the past 2 seasons, will have 4 open schollies this season and 3 the next.
