so on my Occidental team I have a listed SG who has decent perimeter and LP... if I play him at SG, will he take the 18 footers and drive to the basket? or is he better used at Forward? thanks..

Is he better as a ball handler or a rebounder? You have to factor these things in when deciding between a shooting guard or a small forward.

manny, are you talking about Marcotte? If so, I'd play him at SG - his low REB is going to be a liability at SF, and with his strong SPD / LP / PER, he should be able to score pretty efficiently vs most 2-guards.

Check out Buser on my team.  He's a pretty good scorer and has a nice LP.  I play him at point, actually.

A good LP for a guard is great especially at the lower levels.  My best scorer at Centre (DIII) is a guard with over 50 LP and less than 30 PER.  He shoots over 50% and has been in double digits for both his FR and SO years.  I have him starting SF and backup SG since we go small with 2 PGs starting, but he is a good one at that level.  Never acually seen one at the DI level though, but I don't think that is where you were asking about.
