Diamond in the Rough Topic

Somewhere in every organization there should be at least one player who improves enough to become Major League material.   To have 3 or 4 minor league players go from horrible to mediocre does not do anything to help anyone.  If you are not going to do this, why bother to have the DiTR feature to begin with.   You might as well not waste the time or programming space.

In Hardball Dynasty, "diamonds in the rough" applies to players that had a large gain in projected ratings. It does not mean that they will necessarily become major league players though as many do not. There is a chance for them to become good enough to play in the majors though.

my 'DIAMONDS' = Jeromy Marshall , Eddie Lidge.... no large gains here. these 2 clowns will be lucky to play in high A ball. in real life no one would use the term 'diamond in the rough' to describe these players. they are turds.
why even continue this process? if you don't want hidden gems in the game just do away with this comical effort. it's silly.

Thanks for the note. We have no plans on removing Diamonds in the Rough from Hardball Dynasty. There is a very small chance for a player to increase enough to be a solid major league player.
