So i offered a 1 year player a start + 15 minutes. I did not fulfill the promises. 
When the season ended he gave the message that i didnt fulfill his promise, and he's taking off. 
My question is is that normal? he's a 1 year player and was graduating anyways...so is it normal for him to leave 
and i get a rephit, even tho he graduated, because i didnt fulfill?

.  The rep hit isn't because he left. It's because he was unhappy with your lies and told ESPN.  This was his last chance to impress the NBA and he believed you'd give him the opportunity.  You sat in his grandmother's  living room, ate her homemade cherry pie, and lied to that sweet old woman.  And you're surprised your reputation's in the gutter!?!?!?

It doesn't matter if he was a senior or not.    The "I'm leaving" message is probably an automatic response from any unhappy player. If he'd been a junior, he would've transferred.

the only time I tried that with a 1 yr player he quietly came of the bench and never said a peep about his promised start and graduated leaving us both happy...
