So, I get what the difference is between Minor League and Big League contracts, as the help pages talks about them, but what are the Invite options when offering a minor leaguer a contract? 

Invite Only?
Minor League w/ invite?  

I'm assuming that means an invite to Big League camp?  Does that mean they'll have to clear waivers if they don't make the big league team?

No.  They just get invited to spring training.

Minor League w/Invite is more attractive to the player than straight up Minor League.  It's a way of upping the offer.
