Hey everyone, I got a message today that was new to me, so I turn to the wisdom of large numbers here in the forum - is this a "backup/pulldown" message or a recruit as normal (incl. home/campus visits) message?

"Hey Coach. Sorry I didn't take your call - I've been really busy lately. From what I know of the program, it may be something I'd be interested in, but I'd really like to learn a lot more about the school, conference and your coaching philosophy."

No, he's already recruitable.  You can use HV, CV, etc.

I think it is a recruit as normal message.  Whenever I see anything about wanting to learn more that means he will start taking visits in my mind.

OK, something else new (to me) happened with this kid.

The first 6 home visits and the first campus visit he accepted. The next home visit he rejected! Is this usual?

I wouldn't read too much into it.  If you are in a battle getting a fair percentage rejected means you are behind.
