Guys you are missing the point. A rule is a rule and should be the same accross the board. I dont care either way but it should be pointed out that in reality a sim could be taking a recruit away from a real coach, who has to abide by the rules. And the sad part is I have seen sim teams time and time again recruit better players than real coaches..
You care to point to me where the rule of HD says SIMAI has the same rules as human coaches? Because as far as I can see, SIMAI operate under completely different rules. They use recruiting credits, not cash. They can only put in effort on undecided players in the 1st cycle and one cycle after signing. These are pretty major restrictions. Do you really want to change sim recruiting to be the same as human recruiting, i.e they do not dump effort all at once; they generate a coding system to determine which player is best, and then dump the equivalent of 10k worth of recruiting effort to sign the players; they can jump on recruits that are already considering human coaches, just like how some human coaches recruit?
If sim team is signing better players than human coaches, it only means that the human coach in question don't really know how to recruit. I have yet to see sim recruits that are better than the consistent Elite 8 teams in any of my worlds.
Sims are fairly easy to knock off if the recruit is truly worth it.
