Can I expect this guy to improve? Topic

Judging by his ratings, I expected a lot more out of this guy but he has been absolute SH*T! Is it just a small sample size?

35 GB rating and 8 HR allowed in 18 innings.  That's problematic.

It's mostly SSS-- but lower his pitch count.  He's getting fatigued and probably being hurt in his performance by in-game fatigue as well.  It won't make the whole difference between what he has been and what he should be, but it will help somewhat.

He's not as bad as his #'s suggest.  In-game fatigue is something you have to adjust for, but looking at his game logs, you've only clearly abused him a couple of times.  Some of it is just randomness.  How big is your staff?  He may do better pitching slightly less often.  Either way, from here, throw out his numbers and gage his stats from this point forward.  His season numbers are already screwed, but if he's effective at all the rest of the way, those numbers will mask it if you're not looking at the context.

I guess the short answer is "yes".    He gives up a homer every 6 innings over his career and he's giving up one every two innings this season.   That can't maintain itself.

Alright, ill take a look at mixin him in a bit less. His PC is 20 across the board so I knew it wasnt that.
