Anyone have a guess on what this scholly message indicates?

"Coach, it's down to a handful of schools - you're on my very short list, but I feel like I still need more information about the program."

Signings started yesterday. I'm pretty sure we're both tapped out. I was slightly leading before I got this message, this is the last one I've gotten since 11am this morning. Toss-up?

That's one of those messages I just take as being behind and put in more effort. Did you get this message from a phone call and what was the last message? If the last message said you were ahead and you didn't do any effort this cycle it would mean you've fallen behind or if it's the opposite and you were behind and put in effort and you got this message than you're ahead.

I was slightly ahead. That's a scholly offer message. Last message before that one:

"Coach, I really appreciate you having enough faith in me to extend me a scholarship offer. I hope that you have enough faith to wait for me to visit another school. Unless they show me something, I should be playing for you next season." - Last time I put in significant money (7 HV), this is what I got. 

I'm completely out of money, so putting in more effort isn't an option.

Coach, I've been a fan of _____ since I was little. Thanks for taking your time to visit with my family. Now they are as excited as I am! - HV

I think you have fallen behind, but that is only a guess.
