Better than any other...? A great opening. Topic

A10 in Rupp has 6 openings in total and 2 hot ones in Dayton and Temple. Good prestigestostart with, and you don't have to ride the coattails of a bunch of legends who, as a group, will make a great power conference in Rupp. Instead, take a look at A10 who has a few very good coaches, but nonetheless, has managed to bring in as much extra cash as some of the Big 6 conferences. With a couple more dedicated coaches, the A10 could be a true power in Rupp, and if you're interested, you could be a building block of this conference, not just a final filler to a conference already set in stone.

As usual, I agree wholeheartedly with my long-time Allen conference mate.

If you don't think you'll be able to cut it in C-USA and you're not up to the challenge, then the A-10 could be a perfectly acceptable back-up plan. As could the Patriot, Big West or Ohio Valley.

Most of us here in Rupp are glad to have the improved CUSA and the added competition it brings. In a couple of years the conference will be pretty scary.
Then again, for those of us looking to compete now, CUSA, Patriot, Big West and the OVC and a total of 2 postseason wins last year, and none in the NT.   Tulane is a great opening, and those of us who want a piece of the next Evil Empire should get in ASAP. Those of us interested in winning now in a BCS level conference outside of the Big 6, Check out the A10.

My shameless conference hype has been made.

Next call for the A10 in Rupp. 6 humans, 5 NT berths (only the SEC had more), 4 teams in the second round or better. All coaches in for the long term. More extra recruiting money, and a better conf rating than the ACC. A mediocre coach such as myself was able to take a C- school to a B+ in only 4 seasons. With 2 or 3 more human coaches, we could easily be one of the top 4 conferences in Rupp. If you are looking at changing schools, or moving up from D2 this is the place to be.
