He was a 2nd team AA, that played a huge role. Also his speed is really good for a SF, his reb is good and his per/lp combo is really good. Due to his weak bh/p I'm surprised he left early but everything else makes sense. Every season there are a handful of guys in real life who go pro who are head scratchers and WIS is no difference. At least he'll be drafted and you'll get a prestige boost from it.
First, this guy doesn't have EE type ratings. He's good. But not EE good.
Second, I'm fairly positive that there is either no (or at most a very tiny) direct correlation between being named an AA and EE. AA is mostly a statistical honor, while EE is mostly ratings based, with team success being the #2 criteria. And whether or not a guy is named to the AA does not directly increase his chances of leaving early.
