Injuries in OL? Topic

I thought there were no injuries in regular open leagues. In my latest game, my opponent's starting pitcher got injured on a play, and had to leave the game. Is this a case where it just affects that one game, and does not carry forward? Still, this is a change from what I thought.

It's only for the  game and doesn't carry forward.

But as far as I know it's always been turned on in open leagues. That's one of the main reasons that injuries exist - to combat the fatigue strategies in OLs.
