I have long thought recruiting should feature a pipeline effect - like when you sign a guy from Nigeria it should help next year in Nigeria - or a guy from Montrose Christian should help next time you recruit there....etc etc.

here' an easier wrinkle - when you send your assistant to do an eval on a player, you should sometimes - not always - also get a bonus free eval on another kid at the same school....while I was there coach I noticed the Rodriguez kid - he looked good - here are my notes.,...

sometimes the free bonus eval will be useful - often it will be a kid way above or below your recruiting range, but it would be cool

I think it's a cool idea and people have brought it up in the past on the board, but I imagine that this is not something that is very easy to program.

I woudl like the "POsitional pipeline" - for example, for a long time Georgia Tech was known for its point guards, Georgetown for its centers, etc.  Say you have a string of all stars or even NBA recruits at division one -- in a certain position, then it becomes easier to recruit that position -- they think your school is the road to success at being an 'x')

I obviously have no idea, but I wouldn't think it would be that difficult to give a little bump for each player on a roster who is from the same high school or from the same country as the recruit.

This is part of fd's blatantly obvious campaign to have an all-Nigerian starting lineup.

I've always said this. I remember once at Central Oklahoma in some world I got two years in a row a really good player from the same Oklahoma City HS, and I thought that should be like the start of a pipeline or somehting. It would be a cool layer of complexity.
