If so can someone teach me how to use it?

I follow a hybrid of weenas and coachbillys method. Highest player, best shooter according to ratings, not previous season gets 11. Find next best and ask yourself if top guy is 10% better, etc. Maybe he is close and gets 9 or 11. Next guy may deserve 60% of top guys shots,70, etc so he is set at 7. Try to balance it out. Don't want 4 low post guys at 11, 8 etc and all perimeter scores at 2 or teams will see the imbalances. Ex. Powerforward has 82 lp,good ath etc so he is at 11 dist. Center is close in talent so he is also at 11, both have A- bbiq. Guard is 70 per but not as dominant and a B IQ so he is 7 dist. 1 soph sf has good per and lp but only c+ iq so he gets 4 dist. 3 other players are b- IQ and decent scorers, set at 3. Have 5 players under c+ iq,freshmen so they are set at 0. Will revisit later and adjust but only by 1 or 2 points either direction.

Someone had the basic idea to set distro at the number of shots you want each player to take each game and make that your distro. I don't follow this, but its a good place to start, and easy to adjust for opposing lineups.  There was a similar thread to this a couple of weeks back search around for it, its got some good thoughts as well.

I use a tier approach.

The guys I want shooting the most I give an 6, the guys I don't mind shooting I give a 4, every other upperclassman I give a 2, I give freshman a 0.  I move it up or down a little bit every 7 or so games if FG% is high or low  (above 50%, below 45%)

Tiers.  Set the guys you don't want shooting at all to, say, 1.  Then set the next set of players to two, then four, then if you have a superstar, eight.

It is my understanding that if you leave distro at 0 the engine will ignore your 3 pt settings. FYI.
