If the definition of REALLY GOOD is 5 plus 800+ rated players, in Rupp, there are only 14 who make the cut: UNC, Oklahoma, Colorado, Pitt, St.Johns, Syracuse, Illinois, Washington st. ,Stanford, UCLA, Florida, LSU, Mississippi st. and Alabama. 28 more have multiple starters who are 800+, and since we're only 10 games in, could have 5 players who break 800 by the end of the season. Of these, only 7, Umass, St Louis, Dartmouth, Utah, McNeese st., Gonzaga, and Loyola-Marymount are from non-Big 6 conferences. Then again, I think any numbers like these need to be taken with a grain of salt, since teams often go to the Sweet 16 and higher without being "really good", and currently, George Washington is ranked 11th in the country and had the number 4 rpi, although they only have one player over 800. Also, the number one rpi so far belongs to McNeese st. though they have only 2 800 plus players.
