Very interested on who'll be next.  Some very big names being thrown around right now.

Last I heard they (AD and coach) were working on an extension. Very odd for sure.

The Baltimore Sun has a pretty strong wishlist - although I don't think a lot of those names are really viable.

I would think Mike Brey also has his eye on Coach K possibly retiring in the next few years.  Although taking the Maryland job, then leaving in four years for Duke would certainly add a little fire to the rivalry.

Dixon and Wright have pretty good programs in the BigEast and may listen if for no other reason than getting a better contract out of their existing schools.

Are Rick Barnes and Sean Miller really looking to leave?  Their names sure showed up on alot of recent job openings.  I think both are over $2 million annually, and although Maryland most likely would pay more, how much more would be needed to make them leave?

Do you think Duke would hire Brey?  Brey has always struck me as a good coach but certainly not an elite coach.  I would think Duke could get anyone that want when Coach K retires, and Brey doesn't seem like the best hire they could get.

Brey almost seems a better fit with Maryland.  Just those seasons as an assistant to Coach K may mean something to him.

I never saw Brey as an elite coach either but he has been named Big East coach of the year 3 of the past 5 seasons.

And if Brey did take the Maryland job, I would think the Irish job could be very inviting to Brad Stevens.

Brey?  I'd be miserable if it was Brey.

Sean Miller is the word.
