We are almost at the end of a year (Playoffs are still going on).  This was my first year and I took over a team that had a lot of bad contracts, etc.  I played a couple guys at the AAA level all year and they were making an inordanite amount of money this year.  If I don't promote them, (just leave them where they are) will they just make the AAA salary next year or will I still have to pay them what they are making this year.  It looks like their contracts expire at the end of the year.  They don't automatically sign for what they were making at the major league level do they?
