Why do we continue to have to deal with Sim AI's getting the first shot at recruits? Last season, two recruits I was very interested in were stolen by Simmies before I even had a chance to recruit them. And with a D+, I couldn't deplete my budget just to beat out the Sim.

This season, I have found one sleeper. Lowly ranked, ripe for the pickings, and if he is picked off by a Simmie before I get a chance, I will cry. 

And another question. In what situations is it proper to battle a Simmie for a recruit for let's say...C prestige and lower. 

Wouldn't you rather them do it earlier instead of later? And being on a guy first gives you 0 advantage until considering credit kicks in, so if you really want a guy, the sim really has no advantage by going first.

Doesn't the consideration credit kick in when the Sim school's name appears and your recruiting summary shows "Considering another school"? (which is the only way you know a Sim is on a guy you liked in the first place...)

Or have I been operating under a false assumption for many seasons? 

It seems at least once a month somebody complains about the "advantages" simmy has when it comes to recruiting and I don't understand it at all. Sim AI recruits horribly which is why sim coaches teams are usually awful why is it some people want them to recruit even worse therefore making them even less desirable for user coaches to take over the schools.

Consideration credit starts after 24 hours, I believe. That 2 hour span where SIMS have players considering them means nothing.
